Caledon Community Centre

Dual Function Community Centre

Supporting the equestrian community and the local citizenry with a new facility

Description:

John MacDonald Architect designed a new community centre within the Caledon Equestrian Park. This 25,000 sq. ft. facility was designed to be a hub for the local equine industry, offering multi-use spaces throughout two stories. The Community Centre features a rentable community hall with a full kitchen, and leasable tenant spaces, to support both the needs of the surrounding community as well as the demands of the growing equine industry.

Our Role:

Design, documentation, procurement.

Achievements:

JMA has assisted the Town of Caledon in generating additional revenue through the design of flexible, rentable spaces throughout the facility.

By focusing on the project process, JMA was able to maintain a stringent time-line, while aiding in cost savings through creative and sought after solutions.
