Deliberate interventions bring light and spatial coherence and greatly improve the work environment
Description:
This study contemplates making interventions into the existing industrial facility that project a strong corporate image and address issues of accessibility, connectivity and flow to improve user experience.
The design includes:
- A light filled atrium containing the entry, lobby and reception with new skylights, and connects the main and upper levels,
- A reorganisation of departments to improve workflow and circulation,
- Universal washrooms and an elevator to meet present accessibility standards,
- A renewal of existing research and development laboratories to improve efficiency and to showcase this innovative facility.
