Hello friends & colleagues,
We have reached the end of our 30th anniversary scavenger hunt. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for sticking with this year-long game. I hope that you have enjoyed it as much as we have.
But the fun doesn’t stop here!
We are taking this opportunity to invite you to our Open House on Thursday, September 11, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Drop in to say hello and celebrate our birthday with us.

We are also happy to announce that the winner of the last JMA Architectural Scavenger Hunt is..... Nolan Bentley who was the first to identify the August clue: the washroom building at the Ken Whillans Conservation Area (Credit Valley Conservation) in Caledon.
A bit about the Ken Whillans Conservation Area Washroom Building:
Completed October 2023, this pavilion houses public washrooms and rooms for staff use. You will never see the foundation of helical piles, but they are worth mentioning as they are a relatively innovative product. They resolve quite elegantly the challenges posed by poor soils, while reducing disturbances to the site. The striking building design is clad with colourful striped “wood look” siding, a jaunty roof tilted upwards with a western red cedar soffit, and brilliant green V-shape columns, as if a well-dressed doorman is tipping its hat with its long green fingers to greet park visitors.
On behalf of everyone at our studio, thank you for your trust in us, for your friendship, and kindness. Without you, we wouldn’t have made it this far.
