Forbes Park Washrooms

Description:

The recently completed Forbes Park Washrooms project provides the necessary facilities for all user groups and visitors of the many recreation facilities available including Scout House, splash pad, tennis courts, multiple play structures and toboggan hill of Hespeler Village’s Forbes Park.

The new facility is a welcome replacement of the previous run down washroom facilities that have since been demolished. The project is an addition to the existing Hespeler Scout House and is designed with a roof line and material palette that complements, but is distinct from the existing Scout House.

?

The Forbes Park Washroom was designed to integrate within its existing park context ensuring that circulation paths were provided to ensure ease of access from the central park pathways.

Our Role:

John MacDonald Architect provided full consultant services including structural, mechanical, and electrical design for the new washrooms throughout design and construction.

“John, you are one of the few, if not the only, principal architects that actually does provide what we ask for: continuous care and service from the senior and experienced project manager throughout all phases of our project, no matter the size. We very much appreciate this, and your dedication to our projects.”
