Convenience and Accessibility for Riverside Park

Washroom revitalization for a more accessible public park

 

Description:

The aging bandshell building in Riverside Park underwent a revitalization to better accommodate events and park activities, which included a conversion of the concession stand and washrooms to accessible gender neutral, single occupancy washrooms. 

 

 New wider paths, as well as the resurfacing of existing paths, improved the pedestrian connectivity and accessibility within each park.
